Izukanji Sikazwe is an infectious disease physician, HIV program expert, and clinical researcher. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Zambia, completed Internal Medicine residency and Infectious Disease fellowship at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Baltimore and the University of Maryland, respectively. She holds a Master of Public Health from Michigan State University and is a Fellow of the Africa CDC Kofi Annan Global Public Health Leadership Program. She currently serves at the CIDRZ CEO, a position she has held since 2017. She co-Chairs the African led HIV Control Working Group.
