Who we are

D-tree International is a global digital health organization dedicated to ensuring that everyone has access to high-quality primary healthcare in underserved areas. We do this by designing, building and deploying digital tools for frontline health workers that improve their ability to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care. D-tree engages with governments and partners to develop a shared vision for the potential of digital health, demonstrates the effectiveness of digital systems to improve health outcomes, and accompanies governments to scale these digital systems and institutionalize them within their broader health systems.

 

We are now poised to deepen our current engagements in Zanzibar, Mainland Tanzania, Malawi and Zambia and expand our model to support governments as a trusted partner in new geographies to help them realize the potential of digital technology to improve health.

 

Who you are

We are seeking an inspiring and dynamic CEO to lead D-tree through the next phase of our growth, deepening our impact and expanding our influence in the field of global digital health. You will lead D-tree’s 5-year strategic plan (currently in year two), steward our continued growth (anticipated doubling the scale of the organization over the next three years), and help us build on our success to date in improving access to high-quality healthcare for all. This role is a career-defining opportunity to further D-tree’s impact and potential.

 

The successful candidate will bring a considerable track record of leadership and management with the ability to inspire, motivate and empower staff in an international and cross-cultural working environment. S/he will bring proven skills and experience working in an international public health setting to craft and champion a compelling vision that furthers the reputation and impact of the organization. The ideal CEO will be a seasoned and senior leader capable of leading D-tree in building up our networks and reputation, and facilitate the growth of our programs and impact. Most of all, our next CEO must demonstrate a personal commitment to a world in which everyone, no matter who they are or where they are from, has access to high-quality healthcare.
